Who we are

Right to Bear Firearms Training ("we," "us," "our") is a firearms training business based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, USA. You can reach us at rtbfirearmstraining@gmail.com or (970) 585-4346.

What we sell

• Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) group classes and Colorado firearms safety courses
• Private and small-group instruction, and build-your-own group classes
• Branded merchandise such as hats, shirts, and patches
• Photography prints

We do not sell, transfer, ship, or broker firearms, ammunition, or regulated firearm components of any kind. Nothing sold through this website is a firearm or a firearm transfer.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from this site or to register yourself for a class.
• Students under 18 may attend certain courses only with a parent or legal guardian present and enrolled.
• You must be legally permitted to possess a firearm under federal and Colorado law to participate in live-fire instruction.
• You must be able to follow instructions in English and be free of any impairment from alcohol or drugs while on the range.

Class conduct and safety

Firearms training involves inherent risk. All students follow the four universal safety rules and every direction given by the instructor. We may remove any student from a class, without refund, for unsafe handling, impairment, or refusal to follow instructions. Eye and ear protection are required on the range at all times.

Registration and pricing

• All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD).
• A seat is reserved when payment or an agreed deposit is received. Seats are limited and filled in order.
• Class prices, dates, and locations may change; we will notify registered students of any change.
• Payment terms are described in our Payment Policy.

Cancellations and refunds

Class cancellations, product returns, and refunds are covered by our Return & Refund Policy. Delivery of physical goods is covered by our Shipping Policy.

No legal advice

Our courses cover Colorado firearms law as part of the curriculum. This is education, not legal advice. Laws change, and you are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you. Completing a course does not guarantee that any permit will be issued; permits are issued by your county sheriff.

Intellectual property

All course materials, photographs, prints, and website content are owned by us and may not be copied, redistributed, or resold without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Colorado law, our total liability for any claim related to a class, product, or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for that class or product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Students sign a separate liability waiver before live-fire instruction.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our business changes. The version posted here at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase.
